Legerity is pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Functional Senior Delivery Consultant with a primary focus on Financial Services, initially covering the Insurance Sector and the new IFRS 17 accounting standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high growth and dynamic company in an expanding market.

You will be working with the Consulting team who are implementing IFRS 17 accounting solution for clients within the insurance market.

The position will be “hands-on” in scoping and delivering solution implementations of the Legerity FastPost platform in the cloud to insurance industry clients.


The Role:

You will be a member of the Implementation Delivery Practice and report to the Head of Delivery.  On a day-to-day basis, you will lead a team responsible for client implementation deliveries.  You will work closely with the Technical lead consultant, the Project Manager and Legerity Centre of Excellence Configuration team.

You will lead the team working to implement the Legerity FastPost solution to meet the client’s requirements for each individual implementation.  This may require configuration of Legerity FastPost’s Express solution, developed for less complex clients, or it may require a full enterprise level implementation

Initially, the work will be focused on the Legerity FastPost IFRS17 Solution, however, FastPost is an accounting platform that will be used by clients from multiple disciplines where an Accounting Rules Engine and or Sub Ledger is required.

As a member of an IFRS17 implementation team, you will be responsible for the solution design to meet the client requirements and definition of relevant data to support the calculation and accounting requirements.

You will define system test cases and participate in the execution of system testing ensuring all IFRS17 calculation parameters have been tested.  You will create test cases, test data, and expected results to ensure the client’s specific requirements are met.

On the job training and support will be provided.


The candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in the financial services industry – ideally an insurance company or investment bank, in a business facing area.
  • Experience in leading and delivering complex finance change programs within financial services
  • Highly mathematical, as IFRS17 implementations will require the resource to work with actuaries and be able to understand the actuarial model outputs & processes.

  • Advantageous: insurance industry experience, especially solvency II.
  • Advantageous: exposure to IFRS17.

Technical skills:

  • Expert MS-Excel user
  • MS-Word, MS-Powerpoint,
  • SQL (advantageous, not a must a have)
  • Relational database knowledge

You will be targeting new clients globally within the insurance market


  • Researching and calling prospects to arrange meetings/calls
  • Follow up and monitoring incoming leads and event attendees
  • Rapidly acquire a reasonable understanding of IFRS 17 accounting standard (Insurance Industry) and the advantages of Legerity solutions
  • Follow structured enterprise sales and bid processes for target accounts and help ensure all sales follow this process (Support RFI / RFP process)
  • Develop an understanding of market opportunities, competitors and partners as applied to target accounts in their context
  • Using a CRM system to manage prospects, deals, calls and leads – keep data clean and up to date
  • Support distributor/partner activity and related administration
  • Monitor, review and report on lead development, pipeline, conversion, marketing and sales achievements
  • Provide additional administration support when needed
  • Attend trade shows and industry events

Experience and skills:

  • Junior Sales (up to 5 years) or Graduate role with prior sales-related experience.
  • Fast learner, motivated, organised.
  • Confidence in own ability, outgoing and persuasive
  • Understanding of building and managing business relationships at all levels
  • Passionate and high energy professional with a capacity for enterprise-level complex sales processes
  • Able to develop skill at value selling and a consultative sales process using deep experts in Legerity
  • Commitment to delivering results
  • Competent user of computer software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, etc, Salesforce CRM training to be provided)
  • Enjoys working in a team environment, as well as individual goals

Legerity is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity within its Sales and Marketing team.

The Role

The objective of this new role will be to manage and grow the Legerity marketing database. You will be tasked with generating new business leads through your research. You will identify the companies, job titles and personas of potential customers, update and maintain this information within the Legerity CRM, supporting Legerity’s sales and marketing activity.

As a member of the Sales and Marketing team, you will interreact with potential customers, handling inbound enquiries, sending relevant materials, identifying who to assign to a member of the sales team, and move through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate data for successful email marketing and thought-leadership campaigns.
  • Report on performance every week.
  • Maintain the quality of the database ensuring its effective segmentation for personalised content/sales.
  • Maintain high levels of GDPR compliance and ensure best practices are upheld and improved where necessary.
  • Optimise processes – explore ways to improve and automate workflows.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a sales and/or marketing role
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar platforms
  • Interest in financial services landscape – players, challenges and strategy
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technology landscape
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Eye for detail accurate in documentation, presentation and communication
  • Ability to understand business needs
  • Overall knowledge of social media a bonus
  • Organised, self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset
